The YES movement to Wednesday nights as AEW signs Daniel Bryan!

According to multiple sources, it appears that AEW has signed their biggest superstar to date. Reports are confirming the Bryan Danielson (known as Daniel Bryan in the WWE) has officially inked a contract with Tony Khans All Elite Wrestling, and a debut potentially set for September 22nd in New York City at AEW: GrandSlam!

The YES movement should bring AEW even more eyes to their product and should reinvigorate Bryan Danielson who admitted being burned out before headlining the last Wrestlemania with Edge and Roman Reigns in what was a stellar match, even with the reports that Daniel Bryan was not feeling it and attempted to have himself removed from the match just days before.

Reportedly the contract between Bryan and Tony Kahn is for comparable money that he was getting in WWE and for a lighter schedule. It also includes more creative control on how he will be portrayed on TV and will allow him to work with other promotions such as New Japan.

We here at PowerBomb Nation can not help but get excited about the potential matchups we could have with other AEW superstars such as Kenny Omega and Jungle Boy and a potential run against CM Punk (if those rumors are true). Or what 5-star classics could come from New Japan, or even the Impact he could make with the cross-over with Impact Wrestling!

Keep your eyes peeled to AEW television as no date for Bryan Danielson's debut has been announced, and keep your eyes and ears here on the PowerBomb Nation for the latest updates from around the pro wrestling world.

Daniel Bryan to AEW? Top 5 feuds for his potential upcoming signing.

With Bryan Danielson's free agency looming over the wrestling industry, we may be closer to a shocking choice by the "YES MAN" himself the artist formally known as Daniel Bryan.

A few media outlets have the rumour mill running rampant and some say a choice is closer than a flea on a dog's rear. With some reporting a much stronger chance of Brian Danielson becoming All Elite and ditching the WWE for the hot alternative. Not really any way to argue, but AEW landing Daniel Bryan obee WWE would lead to some intriguing match ups.

Let's count them down starting with .....

#5
PowerHouse Hobbs: One of the breakout stars of 2021 in my opinion, he is blessed with size, raw power and charisma. Weve seen some real barn burners when paired up with some big dudes in the past, Bryan Danielson vs PowerHouse Hobbs has the potential to steal any show it's on.

#4
Darby Allin: With a cult following this match up would be on the tips of every AEW fans lips.

#3
Malakai Black: AEWs newest roster addition comes with plenty of intriguing matches of his own. This feud could be the preverbial middle finger to the WWE. Not only would this provide for amazing matches and history making moments for AEW, this would give the WWE a bit of a black eye seeing how bother were under contract this year and Alister Black was hardly used despite being one of the best wrestlers in the WWE.

#2
Scorpio Sky: Smooth style is written all over this one. The styles of both Scorpio Sky and Bryan Danielson mix well for an amazing display that should keep any wrestling fan standing with a hair raising "THIS IS AWESOME" chant. This is the type of match Bob Ross would paint.

#1
Jungle Boy & Omega: Here is our reasoning.....

Jungle Boy: I think this is the best match that the former WWE Champion could have in AEW. Jungle Boy gets it, he can tell a story, and so can Bryan Danielson. This could be an amazing slow burn feud that can go from friendship to betrayal and have a huge payoff with what could be an instant classic. (With a Bryan Danielson heel turn)

Kenny Omega: This may not be the best match, but it would be the biggest! I mean who in their right mind wouldn't watch these to go at it over a major championship. Brian Danielson as one of the greatest performers of the last decade vs arguably the greatest wrestlers in the world today. This match could headline a WrestleMania folks! This match could be the match that solidifys AEW's future.

The Swiss Superman inks his new deal?

Great news coming across the PowerBomb Nations desk today as one of the Nations favorites Cesaro looks to have agreed to a new deal keeping him firmly in the grip of the WWE. The report comes from the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer. Let's hope this means that we may see Cesaro in line for a much-deserved push as he has been a shining star on SmackDown in recent weeks. Let us know in the comments below, how excited are you to see the King Of Swing remain with the WWE.

Riddle me this? Who inked a new deal through 2023?

WWE recently inked the Original Bro to a new deal through 2023 according to recent reports. Look forward to seeing him on your TV set for a few more years? Let us know in the comments below.

WWE Star released!

After a hot and cold relationship it appears the WWE and Lars Sullivan (Dylan Miley) have parted ways according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. This is for the best as Lars had a less than mediocre run during his WWE tenior.

EDGE has his Wrestlemania opponent!

After an Exciting Monday Night Raw where we have seen an altercation between Edge and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre it is being reported by Dave Meltzer that these two will not be locking horns this year. That in fact, the WWE is trending towards sending Edge to SmackDown on FOX where he will challenge the "Head of the Table" Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at this year's Wrestlemania in Tampa Bay.

2021 Royal Rumble Predictions

2021 Royal Rumble Predictions and what you need to know with the Road to Wrestlemania starting this Sunday, let's take a look at the January classic and see how the card could possibly shake out.

United States Championship - Bobby Lashley (c) vs Riddle:

After having encounters with The Hurt Business over the past few weeks Riddle finally gets a shot to win some gold in the WWE. Bobby Lashley has been a formidable champion, however it has been a less than stellar run to this point. Look for the brass to breathe a little life back into the US Championship by allowing Riddle to win.

Winner and new United States Champion Riddle

Intercontinental Championship - Big E (c) vs Sami Zayn:

This should be a great match between the New Day member and freshly crowned IC Champion BIG E and Sami Zayn. That being said I wouldn't expect the title to change hands this soon as WWE is putting a load of eggs in the basket of Big E.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion Big E

Women's Tag Team Championship - Asuka & Flair (c) vs Nia Jax & Baszler:

The disarray of the women's tag division makes this one a bit more up in the air than one would think. This will all depend on WWE's plans for Flair going into Wrestlemania. If the feud between Evans and Flair continues especially with the recent pairing of Evans with Royce; look for the Tag champs to retain.

Winners Asuka & Flair

WWE Championship match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs Goldberg:

Many are expecting the worst, another championship reign for the ever-aging Goldberg. However, WWE has a lot invested in Drew at this time and seeing how he has really been the flagship of Raw it is hard to imagine that the WWE is not going to let him have his moment in front of a live Wrestlemania crowd.

Winner and still WWE Champion Drew McIntyre *** until the Miz cashes in his Money in the Bank contract and become the NEW WWE Champion setting up Drew to chase the title into Wrestlemania.

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs Kevin Ownes:

In what has been a tremendous feud that has produced multiple 5-star outings between the two WWE superstars, it looks to spill over and wraps up here at the Rumble. I think this will be the show-stealing match of the night and keep the audience riveted right before the Rumble takes place. With Roman being on the greatest run of his young career we look for that to continue as he shall remain head of the table.

Winner and still Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Women's Royal Rumble:

For the 4th year, the women of the WWE get to showcase their Royal Rumble match and with all the great talent they have this is set to be the best Rumble thus far. I would look for a few surprise nostalgia entrants such as Molly Holly, Alundra Blayze, Lita, Trish, and the Bellas. I also think there is an outside shot we get a returning AJ Lee. Bianca Blair is set for a showcase as I expect her to be IRON WOMEN 2021and then look for NXT darling Rhea Ripley to make her official main roster debut.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Men's Royal Rumble

For the first time in years, the men's Rumble seems to be an open-ended contest, WWE has done a great job setting up the possibility of multiple winners this year. From Sheamus to Daniel Bryan and everyone in between including the like of Cesaro, Keith Lee (2021 IRON MAN), Big E, Edge, and the possible surprise return of the one and only CM Punk. Only time will tell who walks away Sunday with the main event of WrestleMania on the line. Therefore I can not only choose one pick and will hedge my bets with a trifecta and if the latter of the trio does indeed return, well then there is no question that he will indeed walk to face Roman Reigns in Tampa.

Winner: Daniel Bryan / Sheamus (or a returning CM Punk)
