WWE Star released!

After a hot and cold relationship it appears the WWE and Lars Sullivan (Dylan Miley) have parted ways according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. This is for the best as Lars had a less than mediocre run during his WWE tenior.

EDGE has his Wrestlemania opponent!

After an Exciting Monday Night Raw where we have seen an altercation between Edge and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre it is being reported by Dave Meltzer that these two will not be locking horns this year. That in fact, the WWE is trending towards sending Edge to SmackDown on FOX where he will challenge the "Head of the Table" Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at this year's Wrestlemania in Tampa Bay.

2021 Royal Rumble Predictions

2021 Royal Rumble Predictions and what you need to know with the Road to Wrestlemania starting this Sunday, let's take a look at the January classic and see how the card could possibly shake out.

United States Championship - Bobby Lashley (c) vs Riddle:

After having encounters with The Hurt Business over the past few weeks Riddle finally gets a shot to win some gold in the WWE. Bobby Lashley has been a formidable champion, however it has been a less than stellar run to this point. Look for the brass to breathe a little life back into the US Championship by allowing Riddle to win.

Winner and new United States Champion Riddle

Intercontinental Championship - Big E (c) vs Sami Zayn:

This should be a great match between the New Day member and freshly crowned IC Champion BIG E and Sami Zayn. That being said I wouldn't expect the title to change hands this soon as WWE is putting a load of eggs in the basket of Big E.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion Big E

Women's Tag Team Championship - Asuka & Flair (c) vs Nia Jax & Baszler:

The disarray of the women's tag division makes this one a bit more up in the air than one would think. This will all depend on WWE's plans for Flair going into Wrestlemania. If the feud between Evans and Flair continues especially with the recent pairing of Evans with Royce; look for the Tag champs to retain.

Winners Asuka & Flair

WWE Championship match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs Goldberg:

Many are expecting the worst, another championship reign for the ever-aging Goldberg. However, WWE has a lot invested in Drew at this time and seeing how he has really been the flagship of Raw it is hard to imagine that the WWE is not going to let him have his moment in front of a live Wrestlemania crowd.

Winner and still WWE Champion Drew McIntyre *** until the Miz cashes in his Money in the Bank contract and become the NEW WWE Champion setting up Drew to chase the title into Wrestlemania.

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs Kevin Ownes:

In what has been a tremendous feud that has produced multiple 5-star outings between the two WWE superstars, it looks to spill over and wraps up here at the Rumble. I think this will be the show-stealing match of the night and keep the audience riveted right before the Rumble takes place. With Roman being on the greatest run of his young career we look for that to continue as he shall remain head of the table.

Winner and still Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Women's Royal Rumble:

For the 4th year, the women of the WWE get to showcase their Royal Rumble match and with all the great talent they have this is set to be the best Rumble thus far. I would look for a few surprise nostalgia entrants such as Molly Holly, Alundra Blayze, Lita, Trish, and the Bellas. I also think there is an outside shot we get a returning AJ Lee. Bianca Blair is set for a showcase as I expect her to be IRON WOMEN 2021and then look for NXT darling Rhea Ripley to make her official main roster debut.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Men's Royal Rumble

For the first time in years, the men's Rumble seems to be an open-ended contest, WWE has done a great job setting up the possibility of multiple winners this year. From Sheamus to Daniel Bryan and everyone in between including the like of Cesaro, Keith Lee (2021 IRON MAN), Big E, Edge, and the possible surprise return of the one and only CM Punk. Only time will tell who walks away Sunday with the main event of WrestleMania on the line. Therefore I can not only choose one pick and will hedge my bets with a trifecta and if the latter of the trio does indeed return, well then there is no question that he will indeed walk to face Roman Reigns in Tampa.

Winner: Daniel Bryan / Sheamus (or a returning CM Punk)

Powerbomb Nations WWE Mock Draft

So it is WWE draft time once again and I couldn't be more excited about tonight's Smackdown Live! So we are going to break down the first 35 or so picks for this year's draft. I feel this gives us a solid enough look to what the faces of the shows will look like and everything else is just plug & play filler!
So 1st the rules....
Raw selects 1st
Smackdown selects 2nd
Raw gets 3 picks to SmackDown 2
Tag teams count as 1 pick unless GM only wants one member.
6 Picks can come from the NXT roster
So let's get started shall we.
1)Raw: Seth Rollins
2)SmackDown: Dean Ambrose
(This sets up the title match for the 1st battle of brand supremacy in the main event, winner becomes champion. And one brand draws first blood.)
3)Raw: Roman Reigns (Too much invested in him not to have the first 3 picks go the the Shield)
4)Smackdown: The Club (I'm taking advantage of the rule where tag teams are one pick. Aj, Gallows, Anderson hard not to take them #1 overall)
5)Raw: Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman
6)Raw: Charlotte Flair (Womens Champ)
7)Smackdown: John Cena ( The new face of Tuesday nights, filling in the Undertakers old role)
8)Raw: Kevin Owens (Solid Gold for Monday night)
9)Smackdown: The Miz /Maryse (IC Champ & is really as underrated as they get. The man is gold on the mic & in the ring)
10)Raw: Finn Balor (The Demon invades Raw)
11)Raw: New Day (Tag Team Champs & Because New Day Rocks)
12)Smackdown: Nakamura (Smackdown should be full of great matches, the in ring show as we will see as the draft continues)
13)Raw: Randy Orton (From Legend Killer to Legend & Vet of Raw)
14)Smackdown: Sasha Banks (Boss of Tuesday nights)
15)Raw: Enzo & Cass (Reunited with Carmella & hottest tag team besides New Day)
16)Raw: Bray Wyatt (Split from his family & primed to tussle with the big dogs)
17)Smackdown: Sami Zayn (Primed to be a prime timer under Daniel Bryans Smackdown)
18)Raw: Rusev w/ Lanna (US Title on Monday nights & gives Raw another beast in the ring)
19)Smackdown: Bayley (Called up to hug it out on SmackDown)
20)Raw: Becky Lynch ( Look out Flair, Foley is a big fan and she should get a great push with the lanes clearer in the Women's title hunt)
21)Raw: Dana Brooke (Solid filler with Flair)
22)Smackdown: Cesaro (Cesaro vs Nakamura! )
23)Raw: Baron Corbin
24)SmackDown: Del Rio
25)Raw: Titus O'Neil
26)Raw: Carmella
27)SmackDown: Vaudevillians
28)Raw: Darren Young w/Backlund
29)Smackdown: American Alpha
30)Raw: Neville
31)Raw: Kalisto
32)Smackdown: Ziggler
33)Raw: Dudleys
34)Smackdown: Jericho
35)Raw: Uso's
Mix & match from here, we will get some trades and such as the night progresses though. Should be alot of fun with lots of coverage on TV & the WWE Network both before and after Smackdown.

WWE Title and brand supremacy up for grabs on SmackDown Live?

After a great match last night on Raw where both Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose pinned each other in a controversial finish it has been announce that tonight on SmackDown Live we will get a rematch in the main event.

Something tells me that each will be drafted to a different brand and with the title being effectively vacated the first main event on this new era of SmackDown will be a battle for dominance.

Which brand will leave tonight with the WWE Championship in tow?

Tune in tonight Live to find out!

Possible Money in the Bank Spoiler? and Summer fantasy booking!

Hello PowerBomb Nation!

With the recent development of the brand split of Raw and Smackdown , and with Smackdown going to a live format on July 19th and the BattleGround event being the 24th coming from it has me thinking of how the title situation will play out.

Lets break down a couple things with some championship fantasy booking shall we?

Intercontinental Championship will remain on Raw.

United States Championship will go to Smackdown.

That leaves us with a few titles that will have some questions surrounding them, the Tag Team Championship, the Women's Championship, and the World Heavyweight Championship.

BattleGround will have huge implications for some championships namely the Tag Team & Women's.

The Women's  & Tag Team Championship can be resolved fairly simply, Battle Ground can be just that crowning of the champions in a match or series of matches leading up to the eventual crowning of said SuperStar's for said Championships! I am hoping for a tournament or massive war games style match because that would be interesting!

So that leaves us with the World Heavyweight Championship, they could do the same thing as above and make Battle Ground a real special show, or we may know who they will be after Money in the Bank. I had the thought that this Roman vs Rollins will be the championship match that defines the new era in the +WWE but what if it truly is......what if it crowns both Champions?

I think we may very well get a double win, both men grapple on the ladder, and both men fall to the ground with the Championship in their hands, thus leaving room for them both to be Champion, one of Raw and one of Smackdown! I will venture to say Rollins will go to Smackdown as champ and Roman will continue on Raw as champ.

So who would PowerBomb Nation select as Champions of each brand after BattleGround?

Raw:

World Champ - +Roman Reigns
IC Champ - +Mike The Miz Mizanin  (he has been doing such a great job!)
Tag Team Champs - The New Day
Womens Champ - Charlotte Flair

SmackDown:

World Champ - +Seth Rollins
US Champ - Rusev (He can make the title special)
Women's Champ - Becky Lynch
Tag Team Champions - Dudley Boyz

This would make for some interesting feuds going into Summer Slam in Brooklyn, NY, it gives the Dudley Boyz another title run and a historic marking them the greatest tag team ever and maybe a date with American Alpha! Becky Lynch gets a deserved spot, Charlotte & Sasha Banks could get a major feud at Summer Slam. Rusev could defend against Cesaro, the New Day and The Club (maybe with Balor as leader) would make for an epic program. Roman vs Cena would be a great match that would get an interesting reaction to say the least. Rollins vs Sami Zayn would be something I want to see! The Miz can elevate just about anyone on the roster they want to pair with him. All of this with the looming Money in the Bank holder Kevin Owens, the return of Brock Lesnar, Bray Wyatt and his family & Randy Orton would have the +WWEUNIVERSE on fire going into the fall!

These are just my thoughts with my speculation, what do you think? How do you see this summer playing out? Let us know below!
